Inside the Cottage

The Grooms Cottage lies in the peace and quiet of the rolling Devon countryside. It is equipped to the highest standards to provide a three bedroomed home from home with full central heating.

Downstairs, the galley kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and all the kitchen implements you could possibly need. The lounge diner has comfortable leather furniture, TV, DVD, Freeview and audio system, and a gas fired wood burner effect stove.

Two double bedrooms and a large single (which can take another small bed or a large cot) provides accommodation for up to five adults or four adults and two children

Outside is a private gated courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ, the children’s play area, ample parking and half an acre of grass

Towels are available for hire. A cot, high chair and baby gate are available free of charge, on request.

Pets accepted by arrangement with the local wildlife. The pheasants committee meets on Tuesdays, the partridge, rabbits, buzzards, owls and red deer on an ad hoc basis. The moles and hares have been disenfranchised after a tunnel collapse and pugilism respectively.

No smoking is allowed in the cottage.
